Utah Jazz fans of all ages gathered at Carbon High for a free children’s clinic and autographs signed by Jazz player Elijah Millsap on Tuesday. Millsap also traveled to Emery County to host the same event.
The clinic was free to all children while the first 100 children in attendance also received Utah Jazz headbands and wristbands. Children that participated were able to do a variety of drills with Millsap as well as compete in a game with the Jazz man. To round out the clinic, those in attendance were able to talk with Millsap and ask him questions.
Millsap attended University of Alabama at Birmingham and just finished his first year in the NBA as part of the Utah Jazz. In his rookie season, Millsap appeared in 47 games and averaged five points and three rebounds. He scored a career high 17 points on Feb. 25 against the L.A. Lakers.
The Jazz player will travel to Green River on June 18 to host a clinic at 10 a.m.
