Utah Jazz rookie forward Jeremy Evans visited youth at the BDAC on the Utah State University – College of Eastern Utah campus Wednesday.
Evans answered questions, signed autographs, posed for pictures and played various games with the young players during his second visit to the area. He also advised youngsters to go to school, get good grades and listen to their parents.
Evans graduated from Western Kentucky with an art degree.
Evans will be starting his second year with the Jazz. Evans is focusing on dribbling, shooting and strength training to try to improve his game over the summer.
Evans said everyone told him “Your too skinny to play in the NBA.” He proved them wrong, and intends to make the criticism a non-issue going forward.
