Authorities located two suspects on Tuesday in relation to the recent vandalism case in Wellington City.
Wellington Police Chief Bradley and Price City Police Sergeant Maynes located two suspects who were identified through tips and investigation involving the numerous vehicles and buildings which were egged in and around the Wellington area.
“One male suspect was arrested and booked into the Carbon County Jail on felony-level charges associated with this incident,” Wellington Police shared. “The felony-level offense stems from the total property damage associated with the numerous amounts of property damage.”
A juvenile suspect was also interviewed and will be referred to Juvenile Court on the same level of charges. According to authorities, over 30 vehicles were targeted during this string of vandalism.
“The Wellington Police would like to thank the citizen’s for their patience and understanding over the last few days as this case was being investigated,” the department shared. “We would also like to thank those who contacted us with tips and assisted in identifying the suspects involved.”
